3⭐️ Guard Nylan Rush has committed to Wofford Men’s Basketball.

The 6’3” Combo Guard out of Leesville Road High School in Raleigh, North Carolina is rated as the #12 player in the state of North Carolina per @On3 and Top 300 nationally. He averaged 23.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 3.3 steals & 1.4 blocks in his junior season for the Pride. National Recruiting pundits such as @jamie_shaw5 have considered him a hot pick for NC State Player of the Year heading into this coming season.

Rush brings the Terriers balanced scoring ability. He is a very strong guard off the bounce, able to get to the basket and slam the ball home over defenders, while also being able to pull up from deep and hit off the bounce. He is one of the top scorers in the State of North Carolina in the 2027 class, indicative by his very strong offer list. He had planned official visits to Wofford, ECU, Appalachian State & ETSU. It is unclear at this time whether he intends to follow through with those visits after his commitment to the Terriers.

Rush is the first commitment in Wofford HC Kevin Giltner’s 2027 recruiting class. He chooses the Terriers over offers from East Carolina, Appalachian State, Toledo, College of Charleston, ETSU, Northern Kentucky, Iona & Cleveland State amongst several other suitors.
